Simchat Torah 2024. 24th october 2024 shemini atzert (jewish) this festival, whose name means ‘rejoicing in the torah’, marks the completion of the annual cycle of reading from the torah. All of the spiritual work we do on the high holidays of rosh hashanah, yom kippur, and sukkot culminates in the celebration known as simchat torah.
